How to read the “4 Roads to License B” infographic
This infographic shows four clear routes to a Skydiving License B after AFF. The best route depends on what you already have: time, budget, confidence, travel plans, and pace of learning. What makes it awesome? This system is unique and fully developed by Skydive Atmosfera. It was built to be clear, modular, and realistic — not a generic “do X jumps and good luck” approach.
You can choose a complete package (FSC A or FSC A&B). Alternatively, you can build your route from individual modules (packing course, coached jumps, Flight Progression Basic, water training). And yes — our water training is not “watch a video and imagine a pool.” We actually use a pool, proper training gear. In the cooler months we’ll even supply bathrobes and something warm to drink. Because dramatic shivering is not a skill requirement for License B 😅.
In short: one goal, four routes — and a system that adapts to your schedule, your body, your budget, your mindset, and your reality.
License A (25 jumps) — “I can jump independently”
What it unlocks (in real life):
- You’re an independent jumper, not a student — you can skydive without instructor supervision (within DZ rules).
- You can plan and run your own jumps: gear prep, briefing, exit plan, landing decisions.
- You can join basic group skydives (FS/formations) following local procedures.
- You can pack your main parachute.
✅ A = Independent jumper (solo + basic group jumps)
License B (50 jumps) — “More experience, more options”
What it unlocks (in real life):
- A “passport” to more organized and more demanding group skydives — shows you can follow structured plans and procedures.
- More credibility when traveling: many dropzones trust a B-licensed jumper faster for organized loads.
- Often the gateway for advanced DZ activities (e.g., night jumps — commonly recommended from B and above).
- Usually paired with stronger canopy skills + water training: more control, fewer surprises.
✅ B = Advanced independence (more freedom + more confidence + more options)
