SWS FIRE 2 harness system – New model
We present you a completely new, ultra modern container Fire 2. This is a new generation of the world famous container Fire.
SWS company spent two years creating and refining this product. We are sure that you will enjoy the result!
While the UNBOXING VIDEO is on the way, we explain how does SWS Fire 2 harness system differ from the previous model:
15 years have passed since the creation of the first container Fire. The evolution of modern skydiving posed new challenges.
The SWS company’s engineers almost completely changed the concept of the harness system.
When creating the first Fire model, the main task was to create a harness system, as flexible and mobile as possible, not restricting movements.
With harness size reduction, the spread of angle dive, speed dive, high speeds and tight overalls, concept has changed.
Now skydivers need a harness system that tightly fixes the satchel on the body,
preventing its displacement and displacement of the harness system, at any speed and in any position.
To solve this problem, the SWS Fire 2 harness system has been almost completely redesigned.
The angle of the Yoke is reduced, and the Yoke cut is reduced. This made it possible to firmly fix the upper part of the harness system on a parachutist. The laterals has additional inserts and is rigidly fixed in the main lift web. This fixes the lower part of the rig in its place.
Testing in on a super-duper hardcore skydivers showed the correctness of our solutions in terms of convenience, and the test drops of a dummy weighing 180 kg confirmed the strength of the harness system.
Container of the main parachute
When creating Fire, much attention was paid to external aesthetics. Smooth surfaces, flatness.
This was solved by a multi-layer construction. This increased the size and weight of the rig, which many skydivers didn’t like.
Therefore, engineers changed the design of the main parachute container, simplifying and easing it as much as possible.
Due to this we won in volume (SWS Fire 2 harness system in the same sizes of canopies is 1.5 cm less), and weight (Fire 2 weighs 100 grams less).
The design of the central panel
New design has no strips. Due to this, thermal printing, embroidery and other elements can occupy the entire available surface.Due to this, thermal printing, embroidery and other elements can occupy the entire available surface.
For student systems, there is a large transparent pocket in which it is convenient to insert a photo of the canopy – which greatly facilitates the work of instructors.
Modern parachuting provides very large requirements for the symmetry of opening of the riser covers.
A huge percentage of skydivers jump on cross-braced canopy of the “ultra high performance” class.
Asymmetrical opening of riser covers on such canopies guaranteed a linetwist, and often – cutaway after that.
SWS engineers developed a magnetic riser covers, which not only securely fix the riser cover, but always open with exact same force.
Choosing a Fire or Fire 2 container, you get impeccable reliability, practicality and comfort!
